BT has launched an innovative proposition in the Fixed to Mobile convergence space called BT One Phone. It brings together your desk phones, mobile phones, and phone system into a single hosted service so all of your calls and voicemail go to just one mobile device.
This unique solution is now available through Tikit, BT´s specialist arm that provides software and IT services to legal and accountancy firms.
BT One Phone will help cut your firm’s voice costs when it is used by your staff in the office; and as they move away from the office calls will be seamlessly transferred to the BT Mobile network, with the added advantage that your staff will have all the call management features on their mobile which they usually expect from their desk phones. The result – your staff can manage multiple numbers on one phone and they will never again miss a call from a customer.
Tim Springham, CEO of Tikit said, “We will initially target legal and accountancy firms that have between 20 and 250 staff, who could potentially reduce their voice costs by up to 20%”. He also added that this is the first in a series of product launches over the coming months as BT re-enters the mobile market after having acquired mobile spectrum in last year’s 4G auction.
