Tikit webinar recording: The unexpected consequences of collaboration
Is collaborative working all it’s cracked up to be?
What have we learned from the wider working world and different ways of working? Our webinar shared the latest findings on the future of work and considers how the legal profession can benefit.
Lawyers have tended to be conservative adopters of technologies in the workplace. However, the drive for more collaborative working is actively moving all sides of the legal community to join in with this wider corporate shift. The challenge is how legal teams, who have tended to base competitive advantage on the acquisition of talent, can benefit from new ways of working together.
This session extended beyond the offer of a more technologically advance workplace and into the practical (and psychological) aspect of how to work more effectively across virtual and physical teams. We’ll also addressed the pressures around maximising the productivity of the existing workforce, whilst also attracting the next generation of talent.
Andrea Foot, General Manager of Tikit Australia and Dr Nicola Millard, Head of Customer Insights and Futures, discussed the challenges those working in law face as the need for collaboration and evolving technology transform the way we are expected to work and the expectations on leadership.
