In order to use the Carpe Diem app, your employer must issue you with a username and password to authorise your use of the app. Your employer will provide these details and your email address to Tikit. This is so Tikit can validate your right to use the Carpe Diem app.
When you download the Carpe Diem app on your device, it asks for certain permissions so that it will work properly. These include reading the contents of your USB storage, modifying or deleting your USB storage, reading your phone status and identity, rerouting outgoing calls, viewing network connections and full network access. These permissions are all necessary for you to use the Carpe Diem app on your device.
When you first register to use the Carpe Diem app, the app asks you to provide your username / email address and your password. This is to verify that you are authorised by your employer to use the Carpe Diem app. Tikit does not use this personal information for any purpose other than validating your right to use Carpe Diem as authorised by your employer.
The first time you login to the Carpe Diem app, Tikit also collects certain information about that login request, including the IP address that you login from, information about the mobile phone or tablet you use with Carpe Diem, including the device ID (or IMEI), the features on it (like whether it uses 3G or 4G), the type and model, and the operating system. Tikit only collects this information on the first occasion you use the Carpe Diem app and only uses this information for auditing purposes.
Tikit doesn’t share your personal information or any other information collected about your use of Carpe Diem with any third parties, unless required to do so by law.
If Tikit think there’s been crime, fraud, misuse of, or damage to, our platform, we’ll use the information that we collect for our internal investigations and any proceeding(s) that might follow.
