"We have worked with Tikit in the past, and knew of their excellent track record within the legal industry. Tikit offered us a one stop shop for all our needs - they helped integrate the CRM system at the same time as helping us build a comprehensive training resource to facilitate its roll out."

Tikit's got talent!

London, 01 June 2009: During work hours Ian McNaughton is a employee of Tikit, a leading independent legal IT services provider. But it is his after hours' activities that have earned him a slice of celebrity fame.

Currently on permanent loan to UK law firm Memery Crystal where he helps the firm look after its critical IT business applications, McNaughton has hit the headlines as a member of dance group Diversity which has just taken out the top prize in ITV's "Britain's Got Talent" (BGT) TV show.

For their efforts in wowing the judges and winning the highest share of audience votes, Diversity has picked up £100,000 in prize money and is booked to perform in front of the royal family at this year's Royal Variety Performance.

A street dance group from Dagenham Essex, Diversity has more than 10 members, ranging in ages from 12 to 25 years. It also includes three sets of brothers including Ian's two siblings Jamie and Matt. The 'day jobs' of the other dancers range from school and university students, through to a plumber and a telecommunications engineer.

In 2007, the group heard that the UK Street Dance Championship was coming to the Hammersmith Apollo, and they decided to enter. Needing a name, they chose 'Diversity' to reflect their diverse style and membership. Competing with groups from all over the UK, they were thrilled to be crowned 2007 champions.

While performing in Romford in late 2008, Diversity was spotted by a talent scout for BGT. After auditioning first for the show's producers, they were invited to perform in the on-air audition. Given two minutes in front of the show's three famous judges, they picked bits from their various dances to make the best possible impression.

The group's audition was filmed nearly three months ago and Ian and his fellow dancers were sworn to secrecy about the results. It was only when Diversity appeared in the final BGT competitions over the last two weeks that his Tikit office mates had any idea of the group's burgeoning success.
