David joined Tikit in 1997, initially to set up a Support Services team to provide the service to law firms that he felt was missing. Following the success of this team he stepped up to the Board of Tikit Limited in 1999, and was subsequently appointed Managing Director in 2000. David became Chief Executive of Tikit Group plc on 1 June 2001.  Prior to joining Tikit, David developed his career specalising in legal IT.  Early on whilst at Wang, David implemented systems at firms such as Linklaters LLP, Denton Wilde Sapte LLP and Masons Solicitors. In 1990 he joined Ashurst LLP, a leading city law firm, as head of its UK IT function.   David's career in legal IT now spans over 25 years, and he uses the wealth of knowledge he has gained in working for both vendors and law firms to guide Tikit's operations.

Liam co-founded Tikit in 1994.  Liam is one of the creative forces behind the Tikit organisation; his knowledge of the legal industry's technology needs, and his skill in sourcing innovative products and delivering them in the marketplace, is unrivalled.  Prior to this, Liam spent 15 years working for AEG Olympia in a number of different sales and marketing roles, then moving to ComputerGroup in 1988, where Liam was responsible for identifying products and services targeted at the legal sector.

Simon joined Tikit in May 2008 as a result of the acquisition of TFB, where he was the Managing Director.   In addition to having overall responsibility for the TFB business unit (which delivers fully integrated practice management solutions to small and mid-sized law firms), Simon was appointed as Professional Services Director of Tikit in January 2009.  In this role, Simon oversees the services delivery of each of Tikit's business sector teams: Content Management, CRM, Finance, BPM & Custom Development as well as the Project Office.  Simon joined TFB in 1989 as new business sales person before becoming a Regional Sales Manager and then Sales Director in 1995.  Simon led the management buy-out of TFB from the previous management team, before completing three more acquisitions in Scotland (CB Systems), England (Avenue Legal Systems – a major competitor) and Northern Ireland (Phibeta).

Mike Kent

Mike joined Tikit as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary in June 2008 from ComputerLand UK PLC, where he was Group Finance Director for ten years. Prior to ComputerLand, Mike spent ten years at the Sherwood Group PLC (now Intimas Group plc), where he was Finance Director of the Lace Division.  Mike is a Chartered Accountant and has considerable financial experience gained in practice and industry.
